The one with the shoes

Hi, my name is Sian and I like shoes!

Last week it was all about shoes. I had such a sh*t week at work that I decided to tick off one of my ‘40 things before 40‘ list items and purchase a pair of Louboutins. It made the week feel so much better and they are beautiful. Not content with those dream shoes, I’ve wanted a pair of converse for ages and ages as I have a few pairs of jeans and need a smart/casual pair of comfy shoes to go with them so they popped into my shopping basket too. The gorgeous trainers arrived last week from New Balance and they fit like a glove. I cannot wait to try them out in Chamonix trail running next week. And then, last but certainly not least are my new La Sportiva B3 mountain boots. I have wanted a pair of these for an age – longingly looking online at them daily. Every time I go to an outdoor shop, I pop over and stroke them. πŸ˜‰ Anyway, I went to a lovely shop in Keswick and got fitted for them and decided to go for it. I negotiated the price too so got 10% off, which on Β£300 is nothing to stiff at. Now I have my very own boots ready for climbing mount Elbrus next year.

  1. Ooooh lovely choice in Loubies – I really want a nude pair! I went for the plain black Pigalle and absolutely love them….
However last week’s purchase was a pair of kitten heeled Prada courts because they where so much suitable for everyday wear (or at least that’s what I’m telling myself and BF)
Great work with the discount on the La Sportiva Nepals..They last YEARS…and plenty of places resole them if need be πŸ™‚

    • Thanks babes. I’m quite new to the designer brand buying, but recently i’ve been treating myself. I have a stressful yet well paid career so should take advantage of it! πŸ™‚
