Post-run routine

I’m trying to get myself into a proper post-run routine. I’ve never been one for protein shakes and supplements, but I’ve decided to keep a bit of an open mind, even if it’s just to reap the benefits of the placebo effect.

Being a newbie to this whole carb-loading, protein shaking malarkey, I looked online for a sexy looking protein shaker (why can’t protein shakers be pretty too, eh?) that wasn’t in lurid pink. I found this absolute beauty from SmartShake.co.uk. It’s got 3 nifty compartments – 1 to store the protein powder for when you are on the go, and another to store vitamins and supplements.

What do you think? Are you into protein shakes/bars or do you think it’s all waffle?
