An attempted answer

Really inspirational words that I think any runner can relate to. I can certainly relate to this as I have bent my life and even quit my job to fit in more running!


I am a runner.  I spend hours a week dedicated to improving my form, speed, strength, nutrition, strategy.  I have drained my bank account to pay for dozens of shoes, racing spikes, shorts, tights, sports bras, tank tops, shirts, jackets, hats, gloves, watches, and a poorly used gym membership.  I have sweat, bled, cried, and cursed my way to new best times, even if only by a second.  I have changed my life to fit around my running routine, my training schedule, and grumbled about how there are never enough hours in the day.  And all the while, I have questioned my sanity, my mind, my body, my heart, and my decision to dedicate my sanity, my mind, my body, and my heart to this most absurd passion.  Yet, like most runners, I find myself still lacing my shoes daily for runs because, like all runners, there is some part…
