I decided to give 30-day shred and running club a miss today: 1) I am busy at work, which is great. I’m so glad my little business is making some money; 2) I’ve had a sore throat all day and usually that’s when my body is trying to tell me to take it easy!
So I spent 15 minutes doing weights today. I like to do bicep curls with side steps. You do a bicep curl with one arm and swing the other arm out (in a controlled way) and alternate. This way you are keeping your heart rate up whilst building strength. I also like to do squats and shoulder presses – I’m not very good at the shoulder press bit mind you.
